God's World Mission
As the body of Christ, the church is given the charge to be the hands and feet of Jesus to the kingdom and world. This manifests itself primarily through the local church, and through each local congregation's participation in the broader church universal and its collective ministry across the globe.
There is no biblical distinction between efforts to advance this mission, be they within a local congregation in a small, rural community or within a larger church in a growing metropolitan area; be they carried out in a local context or in the context of an international mission work. To advance the gospel is to participate in God's world mission.
